045. where the city meets the sea

Very soon, I won't have this sinking feeling anymore when I listen to this.

I'm going home. I really can't believe this is all happening. I always thought I would be only be living in Melbourne at 25, so I'm two years ahead of schedule.  It's almost sinking in, the fact that I'm moving so soon. I think once I get boxes and start packing, it'll really sink in. (Speaking of which, I do need to get those boxes soon.)

I've always wanted to live there since 19. I've found somewhere that gives me comfort and inner peace. I can't wait for so many things to happen. I'm already planning to get a cat, tattoo, piercings and yes, of course a nice little apartment at Toorak.

I'm excited to decorate my own place. I already have somewhat of an idea of how I want my place to look like and I've been collecting things from Japan since the beginning of this year to place in my new sanctuary. I really can't wait to have Howl's Moving Castle and Moomin Valley on my shelves. ^^

As for posters and whatnot, I have so much that I've kept over the years from going to gigs, pamphlets from releases of my favourite bands, magazines and maybe some polaroids and photographs of people I love. 

There's only two more months left here. I have to start hanging out with some of my friends more often and maybe call up some people that I haven't met for a while. There's still so much stuff to do. 

I still can't believe everything's that has happened this year. From shopping in Harajuku with my boys in February to Gabe making fun of me during Soundwave in March to singing to one of my childhood songs at L'Arc-en-Ciel's live in April to sneaking into temples in May in Tokyo to taking speedboats in Thailand in June to entering Hogwarts in July and to getting massages in Indonesia in August.

And it's already the middle of September.

MUCC is in October and November will be the move and December I will be going to Alexisonfire's farewell gig. Looks like I've got the rest of the year planned out too. 

All I know is that I'm happy.
