105. halloweentown

I'm already late on writing this since it is already November. But... last Tuesday I went down to the ticketing office in Nakano to collect my Freaks Addicts Tour beyond ticket and was rushing off to meet Yuri for lunch and off to Disney Sea!

The weather again... it was raining that day and we were worried if it would rain into the night, but we just decided to continue with our plans to go to Disney Sea. If it wasn't because of the Halloween theme, honestly, I wouldn't go. Haha.

I finally got on Tower of Terror after the third time of going to Disneysea, Yuri said normally the waiting time was about 2 hours or more, but this time since it was raining, maybe the crowd was smaller so we only had to wait for 70 minutes! It was fun, I could never go on it with little sis because she hates rides like that so I was happy to be there with Yuri!

After the ride, there was the Fantasmic! show going on, normally, I don't watch the shows at Disney but we just decided to and it was so pretty! I liked the fact that they had a robot dragon and they had some of the villains showing. The only downside was everything was in Japanese, the singing and all so it was kinda weird to hear Mickey speaking Japanese?

Also, when we went to Mermaid Lagoon (Little Mermaid theme), we went to Ariel's Playground and had so much fun. Seriously, I didn't even realise the place existed and like I said, I've been the Disney Sea 3 times.

I really loved Ursula's Dungeon! It was like in the movie, with all the little creatures and things hanging on the ceilings and her mirror! The other thing I loved was the fish nets on the second floor! Yuri and I had fun jumping around the nets, it was somewhat like a trampoline, haha.

After Mermaid Lagoon, we were walking to the Arabian Coast (Aladdin theme) and we could smell curry. So we were wondering where it was coming from when we stumbled upon the popcorn wagon, they were selling curry flavoured popcorn! It smelled so good so we got some and omg it was so good, we kept eating. lol

We slowly walked to Lost River Delta where they were playing the music in Spanish and the signs were also in Spanish, for once, I knew what they were saying because Yuri was translating for me :D Like I said, I was happy to be with her, haha. And she told me about The Day of the Dead, which I thought was really interesting, because where I'm from, you don't learn or know much about Mexican culture so I was glad to learn something new.

While walking to the Port Discovery, it started to rain, so we decided to leave Disney. But while we were walking by Port Discovery, we stumbled upon Strawberry popcorn. Yuri wanted to try it since I told her it tasted like Pocky. Haha, she was so in love with it, it was funny. From there, we walked to American Waterfront where I got Milk Tea popcorn. Haha, it was popcorn overload but all that matters was that we were happy.

Finally, we arrived at the exit near 10pm and we slowly made our way back to my place but stopped for burgers along the way. We're so greedy!

The next time I'll be going to Disneyland for the Christmas Special with little sis in December!

104. the sound of settling, itabashi

Today was a productive day, I got up early - had a nice warm cup of coffee, did my laundry, cleaned my place (I'm actually a clean freak), went to the market and decorated my room. Now I'm feeling more at "home", if that is the right word for it?

I really like this area, here in itabashi. It's nice and quiet, and there's a ton of food stores near my place, just a 10 minute walk. It's still kinda foreign to me of course, but so far, I'm really liking it. Oh, and my neighbor is an old couple. The obaa-chan is so cute and she has a fat tabby cat that sits just outside my window. ^^

my desk area <3
my bed and erm my laundry outside, haha.

the view from my room.

I think this house grows vegetables.

I wanted to take photos of the market area but it's so crowded and people would think I'm weird since it's a residential area right?

Yesterday I met up with Yuri for dinner! I didn't know they had a Genki Sushi joint in Shibuya! My dad does business with them and I went to their main office in Utsunomiya, so it was funny to finally go to one in Japan. After that, we had dessert at Silkream <3 Still my favorite cafe but I can't have it everyday or I'll be broke...

We walked around Shibuya for a bit and went to Harajuku on foot! I didn't know you could walk to Harajuku from Shibuya. Everyday I'm learning something new. We went shopping for a bit but most of the stores I wanted to see were already closing, so we decided to walk around Cat Street (back alley of Harajuku), it was nice because it wasn't crowded and it was more fun than I expected it to be. Yuri was taking photos of the graffiti and I'm glad she took a video os us roaming around. Nowadays, I'm just too lazy to even take photos of Tokyo anymore since I've been here so many times. I always take retarded pictures of band logos and such. Haha.

We left Harajuku at about 9 and separated ways at Shibuya. We're planning to go to so many gigs but our bands are not cooperating with us, their schedules are clashing and it's pissing us off. But well, I'm still counting down to Freaks Addict tour Beyond! Hopefully we'll make it to Nagoya to see  DEATHGAZE and EAT YOU ALIVE! *fingers crossed*

103.暁 , tokyo

I've finally settled in my apartment. I'm actually really cosy sitting on my bed writing now. All I have left now is not to leave my walls empty, because if they are I probably would't draw. I'm just like that. So when I have time, I'll put up my lynch. stuff and hang the GazettE poster... I'm not intending to bring it home. I finally got AFI's Burials and the new GazettE album, Beautiful Deformity!! I'm so happy I have new music to listen to.

My week has been so bad but at least it's Sunday already! So I can start next week afresh.

Earlier in the week, I was in Utsunomiya which is in Tochigi to meet up with my dad. His business meetings were there. Other than having pretty good food and really nice gyoza, it's a really really small town and it becomes a ghost town after 8pm. So it was boring. I arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday and from there it was hell but thankfully on Friday I met up with Yuri!

We were planning to do a lot of stuff but everything didn't turn out too well. But honestly, I still had so much fun with her because now we can laugh at how pathetic our day was. Haha. After putting down my stuff at my place, we rushed off to Shinjuku Urga hoping to catch EAT YOU ALIVE.

When we arrived they were only left with 10 minutes on stage. I was so pissed off. I really wanted to see them because my week has been soooo bad. In my mind I was like "Fuck it, I'm just gonna pay and at least see them." I really didn't want to pay but argh, I was just so mad I didn't think. But in the end, I think both of us had fun in a way and at least Ryohei was hot that day, hahahaa. They played Coke in a vein and Clockwise! At least I'm gonna see them two more times before they disband.

After EAT YOU ALIVE, we hung around the live house and got drinks. I didn't realize how fast I was drinking to be honest. I feel as if I was trying to drown my sorrow or something. So Tokyo Heroes came on and erm... we weren't feeling the music and left.

It was raining so hard because of the typhoon that was coming. See, I told you bad week, bad week. Then we finally arrived in Shibuya and went to an izakaya and chilled there for a little bit. After eating, we decided to find the rock bar which took about an hour because of the damn rain! If it wasn't raining, I think we would have found it easier. -__-

And the worst part was the bar didn't even play good songs. It's like 1 good song out of every 10 songs. Since... they decided to play pop music. One thing I hate more than pop music is Japanese pop music. So you can only feel my pain. At least, they played coldrain, Pay Money to My Pain, SiM, Man with a mission and a few okay songs, but I got bored and we left to find shelter in Starbucks and were just talking until it closed at 3.30am and we moved to Mcdonalds until 5am to get on the first train. She decided we should take Purikura to commemorate our shitty day. I don't think I'll ever take Purikura at 5am ever again. Hahaha.

I stayed at Yuri's place till the late afternoon because I forgot the code number of my door. -__- I was so angry with myself because I didn't want to bother her and I just wanted to bathe and sleep! But in the end, I'm happy I was with her because we could talk forever and it made me feel better than being alone. So I'm really happy she's here. I can't imagine if I was alone the entire time. T___T

I finally got home at about 7pm, and settled down. I feel so much better now that I've finally moved in. I still don't know the area too well so I think I should go walk around, anyways, there's some chores I need to do. I hope next week will be much better since we already planned to do things :)

and it is so much easier to take this photo at 3am because no one is fucking hogging the place. -_-
