085. of moons and monsters

It's pouring outside as I write this, listening to my favorite band. Their EP, Fourth wall, is not as bad as I thought it would be but still not my favorite.

Last week was quite an eventful week, Tuesday little sis and I decided to go to the newly opened Aquarium at Sentosa because I was up so early. Seriously, you'll never hear me wanting to go to an Aquarium because I am terrified of fishes but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. But still, I did get goosebumps looking at certain fishes and screamed quite a bit at some areas. But it was all goooood when I got to see jellyfishes. ^^

Surprisingly, I stopped and sat down infront of the largest tank to look at the gigantic manta rays and sharks as they float around. There's something magical about them. I love the baby manta rays too, they're so cute. Also, there were several dolphins so I was pretty alright. I wish there were sea turtles though... ): Also, I fell in love with baby cuttlefish. Seriously the cutest things I've ever seen! Maybe I'll paint some in the near future.

I did take a lot of videos instead of pictures, all uploaded onto my account on vine. I've been addicted to it recently. After the Aquarium, we went to roam around Sentosa since it was still too early for dinner. There's nothing much to do in Sentosa either because it's so damn small. -__-

We took the monorail back to Vivo City just in time for dinner and after having our meal, took the train down to Marymount and stopped by at our old apartment and played around at the newly built playground and went home not long after.

On Thursday, I met up with Mad to catch up and decided to make my way to Holland V first to get her cupcakes to celebrate her birthday (belated, 4th May). Also, had some nice coffee along the way with little sis before finally meeting up with Mad. 

I finally met up with her in town in the late afternoon where we did nothing but talked and talked... She asked me if I wanted to go to the Lasalle show this Thursday. I'm so mixed up because I do want to go but SID is having a show on the same day! Plus, if I go back to Lasalle, I might see my old friends and ex crush. I am still undecided on what to do, we'll see what I feel when I get up on Thursday but I'm leaning towards SID.

And I actually typed the second half of this entry but it got deleted off. T_T

I'm obviously not going to retype it... Gahhh.... I hate it when this happens.

If there was an award for best personal band photos, this band takes the cake. I haven't been updating much of THE NOVEMBERS stuff on my tumblr  for quite some time because of the lack of their updates as well and me being very picky with the photos I want on my blog. 

But lately, they've been updating a lot because of the release of their new EP, Fourth Wall, out 15th May. Personally, I'm not really excited for it because I really don't like the first single off it, I was really disappointed when I heard dogma. I've never hated anything from them, it's like my paradise has been soiled a little bit. Anyways back to the topic, I love a lot of photos that the band personally take, I always have them as my wallpaper on my phone. 

Most of them are so well taken maybe because 3/4 of them are from art school (not the band but an actual art school), and 2 of them studied photography. Explains a lot, no? But these two are my recent favorites. 

I just hope the rest of their EP won't be a letdown. *fingers crossed*

I've been concentrating on my art work and getting better. Hopefully things will slowly fall into place...
